Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi Seeks New Members
RIDGELAND, Miss - The Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi is seeking new exhibiting members and will conduct a Standards Review on Saturday, March 9 to review applicants and determine eligibility. Membership in the Guild is open to anyone whose work reflects professional standards and a high degree of competence in creating fine handmade craft. Deadline for submitting an application is Thursday, February 28 by 5 pm. The membership application and information about the standards review process is available at www.mscrafts.orgunder forms.
The benefits of membership include the exclusive ability to exhibit and sell work at all sanctioned Guild events, including the Chimneyville Craft Festival; to sell work at the Guild's retail galleries in Ridgeland and the Outlets of Mississippi in Pearl; referrals to collectors, buyers, designers and wholesalers; promotion to the media and through the Guild's website and social media; invitations to member meetings, workshops and social events; and informational exchange with other craftsmen.

Since 1973, the mission of the Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi has been to preserve, promote, market, educate and encourage the highest standard of excellence in regional crafts. The Guild presents educational programs, craft events and exhibits, art education and markets fine craft. Standards reviews for prospective new members are held March and August annually.
